Level Two (Intermediate) Training Class
Exercises such as; sit, down, stay, loose leash walking and recall are expanded on where we add more time and distance to the stays and the recall, teach proper heel position and add speed changes and turns to heeling. Everyday life scenarios are added to help prepare owners in applying these skills out in the real world.
Classes run for 6 weeks for 1 hour per week.
Maximum 3 dogs per class
**COVID-19 Restrictions (still in place as at March/22): Only 1-2 Handlers Per Dog Allowed & Must Be Healthy Adults Over 18 years of Age (No Exceptions)**
Pre-requisites: Must have successfully completed our Level One (Puppy/Adult) Training Class
(Non Delightful Dogs' graduates would be required to complete our Level One program first - no exceptions)
Minimum 1 adult handler/dog is required.
(Note: males over 6 months of age at the start of the program must be neutered. Females in season are not permitted).
***Only dogs that are friendly and receptive towards other dogs and people may attend classes.***
Aggressive, reactive or dogs with extreme fears are not suited/permitted in classes - see Private Training page for this service.

- Formal Heeling (on leash) utilizing various turns and speed changes
- Figure Eight Heeling (on leash)
- Distance Recall with Front & Finish
- Sit Stay for 25 feet for 1 minute
- Down Stay for 25 feet for 3 minutes
- How to apply skills in the real world around real life distractions
- How to begin fading treats/lures
